This last week was so much fun. We had some friends from Boise, Idaho come in for a visit. Amber and I met in Idaho in 2002 when our husbands were in their first year of dental school. We then moved to Omaha together. We could stand on our front porches and see eachothers house. We were pregnant at the same time and had our first babies just 4 days apart. We did everything together in Omaha, even our grocery shopping. Now that I look back on it, people probably thought we were a little annoying. Anyway, we had a good time and became very good friends. So, back to her visit. It was so fun to have her and her 2 kids out to visit. Eliza is Brock's age and her little boy Porter is 15 months old. Brock and Eliza are going to get married to eachother some day. At least that is what we keep tellling them. If you ask Brock who he is going to marry, he answers..."Eliza, and she is going to wear a pretty white dress." It's pretty cute to hear him say it. Amber and I got in some fun shopping and were able to just sit around the pool watching the kids swim. We went to dinner and a "chick-flick" one night just the two of us. Just like the good'ol days in Omaha. Her visit was too short, but it left us wanting to get together again. Well, it is date night and Nate and I are actually going to go out without the boys. This is an extremely rare thing in our house. Usually we take the boys everywhere with us. Tomorrow is Brody's 2nd Birthday so check back to find out all about the CELEBRATION!!!
